Fernando Tiberini’s films bring an element of suspense to the portrayal of intimate relationships, exploring their dark, seductive and sometimes comedic undercurrents. The films have been shown in many international film festivals and have won a number of awards. His last film I genitori (The Parents) has been co-produced and broadcast by the TV channel RSI (Swiss Broadcasting Corporation).

His documentary work is distinguished by strong content conveyed through cinematic images and multilingual production. Fernando has filmed in diverse locations such as the Amazon, Central America, Northern Russia, West Africa, Bangladesh and inside the Swiss Gotthard Tunnel.
